My list of top 5 things to do at Magic Kingdom

This is a list of my top 5 things to do at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.  This is my personal list and not based on any research or studies!  The way I approach the Magic Kingdom is probably totally different than others.  I enjoy taking my time and not running around, but rarely get that luxury!  No matter how many times I've been I always seem to be in a rush for one reason or another.  But on a perfect, unrushed visit to Magic Kingdom I like to begin my day with the opening show!

5. The Opening Ceremony

This is an Awesome show that you only catch if you get to the park about 5 minutes before it officially opens.  All the characters and cast arrive at the train station to welcome everyone to the park.  If you are lucky (or early) enough to be first in line you have the opportunity to walk down an empty main street with them!  I have heard that you may also be chosen to be part of the parades and other neat things during your day...I've never been that early to find out if that's true or not!

4. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Ahhh, Halloween...at Disney! I love it!  This is my favorite party that they have at Disney.  Wonderful costumes, trick-or-treating around the park, and the headless horseman!  All the things I love about Halloween at my favorite place in the world!  It's definitely worth going to at least once!

3.  Mickey's Philharmagic

This is kind of a hidden gem in my opinion.  This 'ride' features a lot of the classic Disney movies.  It's not really a ride, but a 4D show.  The seats don't move, but you watch a 3D panoramic movie with scents and effects.  It is also air conditioned and the line is all indoors.  Unless you go at an extremely busy time of year, your wait is usually never more than 10 min!  It's a fun experience that many people don't know about, but totally worth it!  Kaylynn loves Donald Duck right now, and he is the star of the show in this one.  It was so much fun watching her watch it!

2.  The Dole Whip Float

I love pineapples.  And Ice cream.  Put the two together and you can't go wrong.  Add pineapple juice with it...I'm in heaven!  I love the Pineapple Dole whips! A lot! But if you want one of these be prepared to stand in line!  (of course, you are at Disney!)  The Dole Whips have been moved to a new location to help cut down your waiting time, but it's still always packed!

1.  Being in Disney without the crowds!

The last trip we took was the first time I have experienced this.  All these years we never knew if you booked a dining reservation before the park opens, you get to enter before anyone else.  And the streets are completely empty!  We are going to try for the Crystal Palace next time and an earlier time.  We ate at Be Our Guest for breakfast this past trip, and although I love it for lunch their breakfast was an absolute waste of money!

So there you have it.  My list of my top 5 favorite things to do at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom!  What are yours?

I love all things Disney!  I have been going to Walt Disney World since I was born, and through out the years have picked up quite a bit of information about traveling there. I want to share some of my tips with others so that they may have the most magical experience possible!  I don't know everything and would love to know some of your tips you've picked up along the way!

I just had the most magical experience of my life back in June 2014, my husband and I welcomed our beautiful princess Kaylynn into the world!  She is my world, and we just got back from her very first Disney trip.  Now I feel like I can join in the club of Disney moms and learned a lot on this past trip!  So if you have any questions about Walt Disney World I hope this blog will help answer them and if you have any certain interest please ask and I will help as much as possible!
